In October, I already featured the Piano Guys on a MusicMonday. Now Steven Sharp Nelson is back with a tribute to Beethoven’s famous Sonata No. 14 (“Moonlight Sonata” / “Mondscheinsonate”), simply called Moonlight and played on an electric cello (amongst other instruments).

“Peponi” is the Swaheli word for Paradise. Jon Schmidt (piano), Steven Sharp Nelson (cello) and Alex Boye (vocals) have recorded a version of Coldplay’s song with the same name in an unusual style, which is partly instrumental cover and partly done with an African twist. Definitely worth a listen on this Music Monday!
